This group is for anyone interested in sewing, quilting, or crafting while enjoying good conversation. We will meet once a month (perhaps rotating hosting duties). Everyone should bring a project to work on. Hopefully, we can provide inspiration, encouragement, and assistance to fellow fabric crafters. I set a date for the first meetup, but if that doesn't work for everyone, let's decide on a better time/place.

Whether you sew and would be motivated to finish more projects with a group or you're a beginner looking to learn, this is the group for you. There are quilting, knitting, and fabric arts groups around here, but I haven't found anything for apparel sewers, and I know I can't be the only one, so I'm going to try to get the ball rolling. Bring your machine or give me a heads up in advance and you can use my spare.

This Meetup Group is for people who want to participate in sewing and organizing sewing events for charity. I am the MA and RI ambassador for Dress a Girl Around the World and would love to work with like-minded volunteers ... You do NOT have to be a sewing enthusiast to participate. We can use volunteers of many skill sets! :) Perhaps you can schmooze supply donations? Maybe you are wonderful at public speaking to small groups? Do you like to run small events (I can't do it alone smile). …
We get together every other Sunday for sewing/knitting in Wayland at Traditions, and spread out in the dining area. We also do scrapbooking once a month on Fridays Most of the meetups are pretty small averaging about 2-4 people. It's a nice way to meet others and get the motivation to get something accomplished.
Calling all awesome, fun people in Hartford and the surrounding area who are into crafts of all kind - sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking, book making, paper crafts, embroidery, needlepoint, etc. The idea is to meet a couple times a month, preferably at an adult beverage-serving establishment, and get our craft on! Maybe field trips to local museums or stores for stash-building, too.

Whether you enjoy beading, knitting, crochet, sewing, quilting, polymer clay, crafts… this is a great opportunity to spend a day and get those projects done. It’s also a great day to gather with old friends and meet new ones. Set time aside for yourself to talk, laugh, snack, learn, get new ideas and motivation while having a great time. Take some time to spend with the ladies. Every gal …

I noticed there were no Stich n' Bitch type groups for younger people on the South Shore. Would love to have other people in my age bracket to stich n' bitch with! Knitting, crochet, needlepoint, embroidery - all projects welcome! I'm happy to host or we can find a fun place to gather. Looking forward to meeting new friends!

We love craft fairs! Want to meet other craft fair lovers to attend events local to Malden and some not so local. Browsing, shopping, finding unique and one of a kind items for ourselves and for gifts, learning about crafts and how things are made from the artisans.
Show me your craft and I'll show you mine! And then let's make a whole bunch together and sell them on Etsy, Ebay, wherever to support local organizations. And support ourselves by growing and sharing our skills and talents with one another.

We love everything technology (old or new), are willing to wait in line to see the new Burton, Cameron, Jackson, Scott, or Spielberg flick on opening night (with no shame for smuggling in snacks from the grocery store) and love role-playing in whatever form it takes: pen and paper, live-action or online. We have clothing (not costumes) in our closet that would fit well in the 16th century or the 23rd century. We can master any interest that piques our curiosity, whether it be making crème brule …
