The Toronto Sewing June Meeting

This is a sewing and DIY community. We meet once a month to stitch and bitch (or chat). It's a place where people can share their passion and interest for sewing and all crafts. Bring yourself and your project to get inspired and stimulate your creativity.

It's pay what you can to the good karma jar, and the money will be donated to the Toronto Humane Society. We suggest that a $5.00 donation is a good start.

An RSVP is required as space is limited. When you RSVP 'yes", and can't attend the meet up, please update your RSVP. If you have RSVP Yes and no show, unless you have a really good
excuse, you will be remove from the group immediately.

The meetup is generally informal and even though it's called stitch and bitch, we don't really "bitch". It's just a fun gathering and sharing of information and life.

Even though people don't mind sharing their knowledge or lending a helping hand with questions, please don't treat the meet up as a sewing lesson or private lesson as it could become disruptive to others who would like to get some sewing done.

The studio does supply members the use of their machines and cutting tools. It is the members responsibility to bring their own tools and notions for their projects. Please make sure you bring your threads, zippers, elastic or any notions you need to complete your project.

The meet up is operated on the principle of "Be nice to each other". We are committed to creating a happy harmonious environment for all members.

Important - No early birds! Please arrive at the set time of the meet up. Please be consider as there are classes in progress before the meet up.

Please update your RSVP if you can't make it to the meet up as space is limited. A no show can result in membership removal.
