Introduction: Hi - I also have a passion for sewing but not enough time. I still work full time but get in as much sewing as I can - and all kinds. Home Dec, Garment, Quilting, bags, anything and everything.
How many unfinished projects are you sitting on right now?: Only a couple - I think I am the exception - that I actually do not like unfinished projects around. I work on them until I finish.
What is your history with sewing?: Mom sewed my clothes. I was in 4-H by the time I was 9 and kept on sewing.
Tell us about your sewing machine(s).: I have three Husqvarna sewing machines (2 embroidery) and one Husqvarna serger. I also have a small 1900 Singer that my 6 yr old granddaughter uses because it is manual - no electric.
When you make a mistake while sewing, what do you do?: REVERSE SEW !! (take it out!) If it is major I try to cover it up or change the design. It is not a mistake - it is an opportunity, right?
What do you think about ironing?: I actually love ironing. I invested in a Rowenta steam system and what a difference in my utilitarian sewing of clothes to wear as well as assembling garments and quilts.
