“ First Samples was a beautiful, clean, well-lit, spacious sewing studio with a very gracious feel. I felt like i had entered a sewing afterlife and wondered what i had done to deserve it! Though i got there all sleep-deprived and twitchy the super-clean set-up made it easier to reign in my thinking process and Shauna and Susan were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to break down an incredibly complex group of pattern design problems and answering the many questions i had. I learned so much i'm, not sure how much i can retain long-term, but i did my best to jot down the gist in a manner i'd be able to understand later. I was really amazing- i hope i'll get a chance to more well rested and less spacy for the next one! ”
